We have had many national and international visitors to our home and they have greatly appreciated our work. Our donors and their friends also frequently visit our facilities and organization and are welcome anytime to see the results of their donations and to contribute their time.
We wish to cordially extend an invitation to any individuals or groups who are interested in volunteering with us, from anywhere across the globe. We can be contacted internationally at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, questions and discussions.
Volunteer Service – Skills/Qualifications Needed
There are no specific qualifications needed to join with us, assisted living or farming project. However, volunteers should be adaptive, patient and have a passion and love for social service.
When you volunteer with us, you may be teaching English to children in the local community, helping with day-to-day life skills and assisting in the care of children or the elderly.
Volunteers may also organize games, art lessons, singing, dancing and other creative, educational and extra-curricular activities for the children. This may include group sports training, arts and crafts, inter-school football (soccer) or cricket matches and playing music. Volunteers may also teach and tutor for subjects such as mathematics, world affairs, personal hygiene and nutrition. The possibilities are truly endless!
In the evening, volunteers may help the children with homework and encourage academic progress. Some participants may also assist in the care of the children who cannot yet attend school, and others may lend a hand with food distribution, kitchen work and garden maintenance. There is a variety of things to do and we do our best to match your activities to your personal interests, strengths and experience.
Our organization manages living accommodations and provides meals and supervision for volunteers for the entirety of their stay in India.
Our organization is located in Samisragudem, a beautiful village 22 miles from Rajahmundry airport.
