Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment

Our aim is to encourage young girls and women from local villages and tribal communities to realize and develop their strength and potential not only as a woman, but as a functional, contributing member of society through education and job and life skills training, so they can break the grip of poverty and abuse. This program also includes the creation of a crisis helpline to make it easier for those that are suffering to reach-out to our program.

Local, organic programs to empower and protect our young girls and woman are not only necessary, but are the most effective way to change and reverse this cycle of poverty and abuse by giving young girls and women the opportunity they deserve to develop durable, systemic solutions to bravely face their collective future with hope and compassion.

Our goal is to develop a series of programs to empower these girls and women through job training and other skills, such as:

  • Learning to read and write;
  • Vocational training;
  • Training courses localized to village and tribal needs;
  • Self-employment skill development programs; andAwareness training regarding woman rights, gender equality and security.
